Welcome to The Flip Spot — Chattanooga’s movement studio designed for children and adults! We offer a variety of exciting and skill-building classes in gymnastics, aerial silks, strength training, cheer, and more. Whether your child is just starting or building on existing skills, we help them grow strong, confident, and fearless in a safe, supportive, and FUN environment.
At The Flip Spot, we believe in building more than just physical strength. We’re here to nurture your child’s confidence, spark their creativity, and help them thrive through movement and play. Our small class sizes, passionate instructors, and child-centered programming set us apart from big-box gyms.

🤸 Gymnastics Classes
Gymnastics (ages 2 - 3 years old)
A structured preschool gymnastics class introducing vault, bars, beam, and floor in age-appropriate rotations. Students learn listening skills, basic shapes, jumps, rolls, balance, coordination, and safe progressions.
Gymnastics Level 1
A structured beginner-level class focusing on consistent technique and foundational skill development. Athletes train by learning the basics of shapes, jumps, balance, rolls, bar supports, and beam work.
Gymnastics (4-8)
A structured gymnastics class introducing core apparatus skills with age-appropriate progressions. Students learn vault drills, beam skills, bar shaping, floor basics, trampoline control, and strength training—a great introductory or continuing class.
Gymnastics (6+)
A foundation class for older beginners. Students work on rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, walkovers prep, balance, bar basics, and strength conditioning. Ideal for athletes brand-new to gymnastics.
Gymnastics Level 2
An intermediate class for athletes who have mastered Level 1 basics. Students progress toward walkovers, stronger bar shaping and casting, beam connections, advanced jumps, and controlled floor skills.
🌀 Tumbling Classes
Tumbling Skills 1
Our entry-level tumbling class focuses on strong foundational skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, bridges, kick-overs, and early power tumbling shapes. Perfect for beginners or students who need to refine technique before advancing.
Tiny Tumblers (14 months–2 years)
A playful introduction to movement and early gymnastics skills. Toddlers explore soft equipment, balance activities, climbing, assisted rolls, and beginner body shapes while improving coordination and confidence. Parent participation is encouraged as needed.
Tumbling Skills 2
An intermediate tumbling class focused on back walkovers, front walkovers, round-off technique, power tumbling entry skills, handspring prep, and strength conditioning for higher-level tumbling.
Back Handspring Focus
A specialty class dedicated entirely to back handspring progressions. Athletes train in shaping drills, power conditioning, round-off development, snap-down technique, spotted handsprings, and step-by-step skill mastery. Perfect for motivated tumblers preparing for cheer or advanced tumbling. *Child must be working on walkovers to join.
🎪 Aerial + Acro Classes
Aerials / Acro 1
An introduction to aerial silks and acro technique. Students learn basic knots, climbs, foot locks, supported inversions, balances, shapes in the air, and smooth transitions. Designed for new aerialists or those progressing from beginner homeschool.
Aerials / Acro 2
An intermediate class focused on advancing strength, clean technique, and more complex aerial sequences. Students work on inversions, controlled drops, extended poses, choreography, and flexibility. Coach approval recommended for this level.
Intro Aerials
A gentle, beginner-friendly entry point for students interested in trying aerial arts. Focus areas include grip strength, basic climbs, simple wraps, body positions, safe progressions, and foundational acro shapes.
💪 Gladiator Program
Gladiator HS (Homeschool)
A high-energy strength, agility, and obstacle-course training class designed specifically for homeschool students. Athletes climb, jump, swing, balance, crawl, and navigate rotating ninja-style challenges that build coordination, endurance, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Ninja / Gladiators
A fast-paced obstacle-course training class combining elements of ninja, parkour, and strength building. Students climb, swing, jump, race, balance, and problem-solve through structured challenges. Great for high-energy kids who thrive on movement and adventure.
Mini Gladiators
A younger-child version of our Ninja/Gladiator program. Students navigate obstacle courses designed to build balance, coordination, strength, and confidence in a safe, playful environment. Perfect for active preschoolers.

Homeschool Gymnastics (Beginners)
A foundational gymnastics class designed for homeschool students ages 5–12. Athletes learn core skills across vault, bars, beam, and floor, while building strength, balance, and body awareness. Perfect for beginners or those returning to the sport. Each class includes structured rotations, conditioning, and fun obstacle circuits.
Homeschool P.E.
A full-body fitness and movement class that blends gymnastics, agility training, games, and functional strength. This class is ideal for homeschool families looking to add structured physical education into their weekly routine. Students work on coordination, teamwork, cardio endurance, and confidence in a fun, upbeat environment.
Gladiator HS (Homeschool)
A high-energy strength, agility, and obstacle-course training class designed specifically for homeschool students. Athletes climb, jump, swing, balance, crawl, and navigate rotating ninja-style challenges that build coordination, endurance, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Homeschool Aerials + Acro
Silks and Acro Program tailored for homeschool students. Athletes learn climbs, foot locks, basic sequences, balances, partner acro foundations, and flexibility and strength. Safety and technique are prioritized.
Homeschool Aerials / Tumbling
A blended program combining aerial silks progressions with tumbling foundations. Students rotate between air and ground work, building strength, coordination, and confidence across multiple disciplines.
Homeschool Gymnastics (Intermediate/Advanced)
For experienced homeschool gymnasts ready for higher-level skills. Students work on walkovers, handsprings progressions, leaps, turns, beam connections, bar shaping, casting, and controlled landings. Must have prior gymnastics experience.
🎉 Cheer Classes
Cheer Prep / Flexibility & Strength
A technique-focused class for cheerleaders and aspiring cheer athletes. Curriculum includes jump training, body shaping, flexibility work, motion technique, and strength building. Excellent for school cheer prep, stunt readiness, and athletes looking to improve flexibility and body control.
Cheer / Tumbling Prep
A skills-focused class that bridges cheer technique and tumbling foundations. Athletes work on jumps, motions, flexibility, body shaping, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and the strength needed for cheerleading.

Intro to Gymnastics
A beginner-friendly adult program focusing on flexibility, core strength, tumbling basics, body shaping, and safe progressions on floor and apparatus. No experience required—this class is supportive, fun, and scaled for all fitness levels.
Aerial + Acro Flow
A creative, conditioning-based aerial class for adults. Students work on flowing aerial sequences, flexibility, inversions, strength, and acro-inspired floor movement. All levels welcome; modifications provided for beginners.
Intro to Gymnastics (+ Child Watch)
A supportive beginner gymnastics class for adults, with optional supervised child watch available. Includes stretching, flexibility, floor skills, balance, basic apparatus progressions, and strength training
Parent + Child Movement (18 months–3 years)
A guided movement class designed to strengthen gross motor skills, balance, and early gymnastics foundations. Parents assist while children explore obstacle courses, practice basic stretching and tumbling, and engage in music-based movement.
Open Plays
Open Plays are $5 for your child’s spot for each open play session (New students + currently enrolled).

Open Play (Ages 2–5)
A supervised free-play session for preschoolers to explore the gym, jump, climb, roll, and burn energy in a safe and fun environment. Light guidance is provided, but children choose their activities.
Open Play (Ages 5–9)
A structured yet free-choice play session for elementary-aged kids. Includes obstacle courses, bounce stations, tumbling play, and supervised equipment exploration.
Tuition
$65 a month per child for one class per week.
*Discounts available for siblings and multiple classes.
FAQ’s

Comfortable athletic wear (like a leotard, tank top, or fitted t-shirt with shorts or leggings). Bare feet only. No jewelry, please. Hair is expected to be pulled back as well.

Yes! We offer $10 trial classes, so your child can try before they sign up.

Yes, we allow one make-up class per month, based on availability.

That’s okay! Our instructors are trained to encourage all personalities and help kids feel welcome and confident.
